Open Gym Thursday: The gym will be open to workout/check weight from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Central time. Please plan accordingly. There will be a dual going on during this time.  Please be cognizant of that.

Entries:Coaches will receive an e-mail containing individual usernames and passwords.

Weigh-In: We will follow NFHS weigh-in rules. Weigh-ins will be held at 7 am each morning.  

Friday: 2 lb. growth + 1 lb. consecutive days = 3 lbs.
Saturday: 2 lb. growth + 2 lb. consecutive days = 4 lbs.

Seeding: Seeding will be completed by Eric Johnson and Tim Yount, so there is no seeding meeting.  It will be VERY important for coaches to enter criteria into TrackWrestling.                         

 We will also be using TrackWrestling to seed the event.. Seeding Criteria is as follows:

-Fargo, Super, etc. 32 results
-Head to Head victories
-Common Opponents
-State Champion
-State Placer
-Rocky Welton Champion
-Rocky Welton Placer
-Record (minimum 10 matches)

Team Camps: Teams will camp in the bleachers in the AUXULARY GYM. Teams will not be permitted to camp in the competition gym.

Spectator Seating: Fans and Parents will be seated in the upper deck of the competition gym.

Format: Competitors will be placed in a 32 man bracket. We will medal the top 6 places, but wrestle out to 16th place. Matches will be wrestled on the "Next Available" mat. This counts as 4 competition points for Kansas and Colorado teams.

Mat Locations:We will utilize 6 mats for the tournament, and all mats will be in the competition gym.

Rules: The NFHS Wrestling Rule Book and Kansas Weight Control Plan shall serve as the official rules for this tournament. The following weights will be recognized: 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220 and 285.

Awards:We will medal the top 6 places. Brackets will be given to the top 3 finishers. The top 3 teams will receive plaques. We will also award the Ed Cramer Outstanding Wrestler award.

Locker Rooms: We will have locker rooms available. Towels will not be furnished.

Pass Gate Information: Please fill out the pass gate information sheet and return it to us by Wednesday, January 29. No passes will be honored.

Ticket Prices:
Adult 2 day pass - $25.00
Adult 1 day pass - $15.00
Student (K-12)/Senior Citizen (65+) All Tournament Pass - $10.00

Entry Fee: The entry fee is $300.00

Hospitality/Concessions: A hospitality room will be available for coaches, tournament officials and tournament workers. Hospitality room will be located in the cafeteria area. A concession stand will be available for fans. Please do not allow your wrestlers or managers into the hospitality room.There will be no food or drinks allowed in the gymnasium, other than athletes having water on the floor. Coolers will be allowed in team camp area in the Auxiliary gym.

Cheerleader: You can bring cheerleaders, but cheerleaders will NOT be allowed on the floor.

Parking:Spectator parking is in the North parking lot. Buses may park on the outer lane in the bus loop.

Certified Trainer: A certified trainer will be available throughout the tournament to assist you.
