State Champions

State Champions

Becoming a state champion is a special accomplishment. Not everyone can say they were a state champion in track in field of the thousands that compete at Cessna Stadium that weekend. The best athlete or best mark coming into the meet does not always finish on top in the end. A state champion is special because they were able to be the very best at the state meet overcoming all the odds against them (pressure, weather, technicalities, etc). We want to recognize these individuals for their magnificent performances at the highest level representing Garden City High School.
